What you will need
- Three-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or undergraduate bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) as recognised by SAQA in Transportation / Logistics / Public 173 Administration / Management / Business Management.
- A valid driving licence.
- Knowledge: Customer Service (Batho Pele Principles).
- Fund Values.
- Minimum Information Security Standards.
- COIDA.
- Protection of personal Information Act.
- Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS).
- Knowledge of the city(ies) drive/messenger functions will be performed.

Experience
Three (3) years’ functional experience in Fleet Management at a public entity or government institution.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the departmental fleet management policy, procedures and delegations.
- Administer provisioning of fleet management services.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the utilisation of the department fleet.
- Maintain sound fleet administrative processes and systems.
- Allocate and ensure quality of work.
- Personnel development.
- Assess staff performance.
- Apply discipline.
