Experience
National Senior Certificate plus a Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in Public Administration, Social Work, Social Sciences, Development Studies or an equivalent qualification. 3-5 years’ relevant experience at Assistant Director
Key responsibilities
- Be responsible for the overall management and control of the area.
- Manage developmental social welfare and community development services.
- Manage financial, human resource and supply chain functions.
- Provide support to the community to promote self-sustainability and integrated development.
- Develop, monitor and evaluate the area.
- Consolidate Programme reports.
- Analyse and report on emerging trends.
- Develop, monitor and evaluate area annual and operational plans.
