Key responsibilities
- Provide operational direction for the HIV, AIDS, STI’s and TB (HAST) programme in the hospital.
- Implementation of strategies aimed at behavioural change in reducing infections and retention of patients to care.
- Implement HAST programme according to the strategic plans.
- Provide programme technical and clinical support to the health care facilities and stakeholders.
- Implementation of all HAST programmes in the hospital and monitoring thereof.
- Management of HAST multidisciplinary team and stakeholder coordination.
- Analyse and manage HIV/AIDS, STI’s and TB (HAST) to strengthen programme implementation.
- Undertake ward rounds and or hospital support visits and audits to ensure programme compliance.
- Lead health and wellness events that seek to influence behavioural change.
