What you will need
- Knowledge of procurement best practices including sourcing strategies.
Experience
A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 7) in Business Management/ Purchasing/ Supply Chain Management (SCM)/ Procurement Management. 3- 5 years’ experience in Transversal Sourcing as an administrator in procurement and/or supply chain managerial position. Experience in vendor 308 management and BBBEE /SMME development. Experience and understanding of the South African market.
Key responsibilities
- To provide Transversal Sourcing services to the Gauteng Provincial Government.
- Improve tender process and reduce turnaround times from 120- 90 days.
- Finalise award of contract within agreed SLA.
- Contract Management: Manage contract to client satisfaction and increase customer satisfaction and submission of status report.
- Obtain minimum satisfaction level form customer service.
- Facilitate that the contract is visible on the system (SRM & /SAP R3) Increase BBBEE preferential procurement spends from 60% to 70%.
