Experience
A three year-tertiary qualification (NQF level 7) as recognised by SAQA in Financial Accounting or BCom -Majoring in Financial Accounting. 3-5 years’ proven work experience in the monitoring and analysing of processing journals, analysing General Ledger, and worked in the accounting environment at an administrator functional
Key responsibilities
- To provide effective and efficient accounting compliance services to the GPG Departments and Trading Entities.
- Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding Trial Balance (TB) analysis, monitoring expenditure and reviewing the AFS/IFS.
- Monitor the processing of Journals and Perform manual interface.
- Monitor the analysis of Expenditure Reports against Approved Budget.
- Analyse and reconcile ledger report according to the NT Accounting Standards for GPG departments.
- Review of Annual and Interim Financial Statements (AFS/IFS) reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Supervision of staff.
