What you will need
- Grade 12 certificate recognised National Steam Certificate and
Experience
Grade 12 certificate recognised National Steam Certificate and Experience as Boiler Assistant.
Skills and competencies
- Knowledge of Occupational and Safety Act (OHS).
- Skills- planning, organising, verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidate must be willing to work overtime and be on standby.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure Safe Boiler operation in the hospital, ensure correct usage and flow of chemicals, monitor the steam pressure constantly, monitoring the water/fuel level in the boiler, ensure adherence and compliance with Occupational and Health Standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, perform administrative functions and supervise Boiler Assistant.
